Before you call, check to see if your question can be answered below.

To make reservations, please call the restaurant (519-376-5151) during regular business hours and speak with one of our staff members. We do not record reservations left on our voicemail or sent via email. When making a reservation, please be ready with the date, time, number of people, contact phone number, and any additional information that might be relevant to ensure that you have an enjoyable dining experience with us.
*Any reservation of more than 20 people may require additional information. If you are looking to book a large group, please ask to speak with management, and we will try to accommodate.*
Hint: We are usually fairly busy at meal times, so if you keep getting our voicemail, please call back at an off-peak time.

We have gluten-friendly options. However, we work with a lot of gluten in our kitchen, so we cannot guarantee anything is 100% gluten-free. Still, we are very aware of the allergy and dietary sensitivities. We do our best to limit the chance of contact or cross-contamination when working with menu items for anyone with gluten intolerance.
Are the deep fryers gluten-free? NO! Unfortunately, we do not currently have a gluten-free deep fryer. We offer many “gluten-friendly” items that do not contain gluten themselves, but these items will be at risk of cross-contamination.

You can purchase gift cards at the restaurant. One of our staff members will happily help you at the front bar. Gift cards can be loaded with any denomination and paid for using cash, debit, or credit.

Yes! As long as they bring their manners.

We do allow dogs on our patio, but we please ask that they be well-behaved and remain on their leash. If any restaurant guest (human or dog) disrupts other customers, they will politely be asked to leave. We also offer our full menu to go to. As an additional option, you can order your meal and enjoy it at another location in the park.

YES! We are open all year! Our take-out window is also open all year round; it is moved indoors during the winter months. We usually close for a week or two in January to do some annual deep cleaning of our kitchen and dining room, but outside of that, we are always here. 

The restaurant is a stand-alone, independently run business in the park. For any park inquiries relating to camping, hall or pavilion rentals, pool, skating, birds, etc., please contact the City of Owen Sound. For any restaurant-related inquiries, please call 519-376-5151 or pop in and ask.

The City of Owen Sound runs the skating rink. If you have any questions or concerns, please direct them to City Hall. 

We can let you know that the use of the rink alternates between hockey days and skating days. The rule has always worked off the H-O-S-E acronym Hockey-Odd days, Skating-Even days.

If the calendar day is odd it’s a hockey day and if it’s even it’s a skating day. Please respect this schedule for your own safety and the safety of others.

We have a full-service dine-in restaurant, a take-out window, and delivery. Dine-in, take-out, and delivery are available year-round!
The dining room is for anyone interested in being served at a table in a fully licensed establishment. The takeout window is for anyone interested in enjoying our great food in the park or taking it home with them. 

Our dining room is reserved for dine-in customers. It is not a sitting area for customers who order at our takeout window.
